Girls soccer didn’t end as they had hoped this evening, coming up short in the District Title game vs Blue Mountain. However these girls have a lot to be proud of making school history along the way! Congratulations on a great season and District XI 3A Runner Ups!

Congrats Claire!!Congratulations to the Times News Athlete of the Week: Claire Bridy from Lehigh High School's Soccer Team!
Bridy, a sophomore, helped Lehighton win both its quarterfinal and semifinal playoff games to reach the District 11 Class 3A championship contest. Bridy had a goal in the Indians’ 2-1 victory over Pottsville in the quarters on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Against North Schuylkill in the semis on Thursday, Oct. 29, she finished with a pair of goals and an assist to lead her team to a 4-1 win and the program’s first-ever trip to the district final. In the semifinal win, she also broke the school record for goals in a season, breaking the previous mark of 37 by Alyson Andrews. Bridy now has 39 goals this season.

Football qualified for the District XI Playoffs as the #5 seed. They will travel to the 4th seed, Pottsville on Saturday, November 7th at 1:10pm.
Advanced game tickets are available online only and are $8 (including fees) advanced ticket sales will end 1 hour prior to the scheduled start of the event. Tickets will be available at the gate for purchase and can be purchased online or with cash, all tickets at the gate are $10.
Spectators 65 years of age and older are admitted free with proof of age.
There are no refunds for any reason.
